We scan your photos at a resolution of 200 dpi at 16 million colors. They are then sharpened, if needed, and optimized to 256 colors. The scans are then saved as jpgs providing the best balance of quality (optimized to 256 colors insures the largest viewing audience) and speed (download time). All
this for only $1.00 a photo. Other resolutions are possible.
